who we are
Christy and Kelly have developed a deep friendship and passion for children over the past 20 years. We met while working on our Bachelors of Science degrees in Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University. We have since worked together in educational settings, helped each other through big life changes and have celebrated and supported each other's milestones through the years. Mostly, we’ve maintained a passion for learning and growing together. We believe what we have is special, and we want to share it with you. Our skillsets pair perfectly together. We both know and understand the importance and impact learning environment have on development. We each are experts in different age groups. Together we seamlessly weave beauty, intention and age specific knowledge into our client relationships and room creations.
Christy Pierce
I am a passionate education professional with over a decade of experience in private education and family management. I utilize my expertise in applied behavior analysis, early childhood development, and educational learning theories to design spaces and coach parents. I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education (ages 0 -7 years old) along with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. I pull from my toolkit to provide the most inclusive, empathetic, intuitive and child led learning experience.
I have had the honor of working very closely with families to create individualized behavior plans as well and curating functional and beautiful play spaces. I love to help parents reclaim their joy in parenting through space design or creating daily strategies to minimize frustrations. As a lifelong learner with a growth mindset, I am committed to work that enhances the lives of others. In my free time, you can find me outdoors camping, hiking, swimming in alpine lakes, or tending to my bees and garden.

As a teacher for 10 years, I have designed and curated several classrooms for elementary aged students. I loved working with students and families to organize and simplify life and hit academic milestones. My love of mindful design and organizational spaces carried over easily when I had my baby who I’ve had the honor of staying home with over the past 4 years.
Transitioning our home and space to support my child's developmental needs has become a passion and skill I am proud of. Creating seasonal art, cooking, and nature based activities brings warmth and joy in our home. Along with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies, I hold Masters of Education from Loyola State University. I am also AMI Trained in Montessori Education for ages 6-12.
